Vagamon! With its rocky hills, creaks, lakes and pine forests, it is really a feast for the eyes.

National Geographic Traveller has included it its list ten tourist destinations. The climate here is always nippy. The temperature during the daytime  varies from 10 to 23 degree Celsius

Memory of a journey along these hilly roads will last a lifetime. Kurishumala, Thangalpara, and Murukanmala are three most sought-after pilgrim sites.
Vagamon is also historically important place. Legend has it that there was a path to Tamilnadu through Vagamon during Poonjar Royal rule and soldiers used to pitch their tents over here.
It is located at 102 kms from Kochi and 65 kms from Kottayam. The nearest airport is Kochi International Airport at Nedumbassery. Raliway station is at Kottayam and the adjacent town is Erattupetta.
